Random rant.
One thing that bothers me is when people make claims about something, particularly health related i.e. food, medicine etc. that states they are bad for you or cause cancer or do something harmful once in your body but provide zero scientific research to back it up. Not even a link to a paper.
People making claims because they can or have an opinion or heard it somewhere is why things like the vaccine scare, which pushed back the eradication of polio in Africa by years, happen. Or the fake link to autism and vaccines in the US and UK. Which caused the childhood vaccination percentage in the UK to drop to the 60s at one point putting EVERYONE at risk.
Same goes for saying something is okay or safe or w/e. there have been plenty of ‘medical’ treatments that were fake and nothing more than placebo effect.
Don’t be blind sheep. Use your brain. Do some research and decide for yourself.
